Fantinel Ribolla Gialla is made from white Italian wine grapes grown in the most explicit Venezia Giulia region of the south of Italy. Grapes are also located in Slovenia, where it is known as Ribolla. In Friuli, grape flourishes in the region around Rosazzo and Gorizia. In Slovenia, the grapes are grown in the Brda region. Grapes are not related to Friuli red Schioppettino wine grapes which is also known as Ribolla Nera lower quality grapes. RIBOLA Verde is a mutated version that is not widely used.
